hello all,
I am trying to install the VIPM for Mac and I seem to be gathering an error about not having permission to write to certain areas. My question is how can I go about fixing these permissions? I am the only user and administrator for my mac and running OSX 10.7.
Thanks in advanced for the help
PS... I attached a screenshot of the error screen

I have not used 10.7 yet, but I suspect that Apple changed some directory (forlder) structures and possibly permissions such that the VIPM is trying to write to some place which does not exist or which is only authorized to the OS.
If you do not get a reply here soon, try posting your query on LAVA.

Hi maddoggpt,
Unfortunately, VIPM is not a National Instruments product -- it is made by JKI. You will probably be able to find more in-depth information about this issue through JKI.
All the best,
