Can you verify that the drivers are correctly installed and configured for your device. Have you tried to reinstall the drivers yet?

Hello Michael,

I subsequently discovered that this error was caused by me having the VISA test Panel open on my device while trying to make VISA calls to it, connection then worked fine after closing it.

I have the same problem wih a Keithley sourcemeter, using both GPIB and USB connections. In the NIMax software everything seems fine but when running the example VIs this error appears.

I am using USB connection, but it also happened to me with GPIB. I solved the problem by changing the settings in my Keithley sourcemeter. The command set was TSP, and the problem was solved just by changing this to SCPI (check the picture). Now the labview examples for this equipment are working perfectly.
