VISA installation

Hi guys,

I´m distributing a installer version of a program build with LabView 7.1, but it doesn´t work in "clean" computers without LabView. They have GPIB driver installed, but not VISA resource (which is used in mz program to comunicate with the instruments trugh "IVI Ne Session" function.

I want to install VISA driver, but I can´t get it, also not in the driver CD from GPIB. Somebody knows how?

You need the VISA runtime found (in various versions) down on the bottom of this page.

FWIW, in the application builder (at least through v7.1.1) on the "Installer Settings" tab is an "Advanced" button that will cause a window to pop up which will have an option to include "Serial Port Support" in the installer being built for the application. That may be an easier way of providing this for new installations.
