Value passed to the task/channels is invalid.

Hi all, recently got this NI USB-6009 DAQ-Mx base, trying to get it to read data, but keep getting this error: Value passed to the task/channels is invalid.

Here's a small diagram of the simple program. Anything I'm missing? Thanks!

You are stopping the acquisition and destroying the task reference in the loop, so after the first iteration the reference is invalid. Move them both outside of the loop.

Doagie,

nanobrain is correct; you need to move these VIs outside of the loop. For more programming help, please check out the examples installed with the DAQmx Base driver. By default, they are located in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\examples\daqmxbase.

Thanks guys, got it working. Turns out that was an error I didn't catch...there was something else with the base configuration utility that was bothering me :?
