Vertical text alignment?

How do I align any text in a text control, indicator or Table element?
The horizontal alignment (Right/Center/Left) can be used in the Text setting menu.
But how about the vertical alignment inside any control or indicator?

Vertical alignment is not supported... You'll have to improvise. E.g. with a
picture control, or with line feeds before the text.

It's about time NI fixed this.
