Visual measurement

 I am after a little bit of help. I am using the Labview 17.0f2 and I am trying to get a camera working so I can do live measurements of the position of two dots on a rubber band ( initial trials ).

The problem I have is there is no functions showing in the vision and motion part to allow me to build the block diagram. I tried a few downloads yesterday from the NI site but none of them worked, so I am trying to find out if this is something I can download or is it something I need to purchase. Any help would be really appreciated.

So you did install the Vision/IMAQ modules?

You have a valid license for those modules?

Do you have the example VIs available in the example finder?

Can you show us the "Software" tree in MAX?

What did you try to download? What does not work?

I have got the webcam working in Max that's works perfectly it is just the functions that are missing.

I have downloaded and installed the NI-IMAQdx for version 17 of LabVIEW which showing in the NI package manager.

What does not work - There is no functions in the vision and motion library in Labview.
