Waveform missing data when re-opening LabVIEW file

I had created a LabVIEW file with two waveforms inside, one containing some voltage oscillations and another containing the fourier transform of that oscillation. I saved the file and upon reopening, the data in the waveform was missing with no way to find it. 

I am wondering if there is a way to retrieve my data that was in the waveforms or is it lost for good?

What do you mean by inside? If you mean that the data was displayed in indicators, you would have needed to select Make Current Values Default before doing the save. If you didn't, the data is gone for good.

I mean that the waveform was displaying data that was inputted into LabView, like a graph. I did not specifically save the data displayed on the graph so I guess it is lost?
