As you can see, ubuntu is not officially supported. I have seen posts where users have successfully installed it though. Have you done a search of the forum?
I use LabVIEW on Mint (which is a port of Ubuntu), and everything seems to work correctly even though it isn't officially supported. To install, simply run the install script from the bash shell.
