Webpublishing tool using Labview 7.0

How can I use the webpublishing tool using Labview 7.0 student edition? I have tried different configuratin but i have failed everytime. Do I have to install the run time engine on my pc? also is the webpublishing and remote control option available on student edition?

I would highly appreciate any comments on this matter.

The 7.0 student edition should be the same as the non student edition. The only difference is the student edition tags its VIs in the lower left corner.

What problems are you having? The basic procedure is to go to the 'Web Publishing Tool..' in the 'Tools' menu from the front panel of the VI you want to publish. Fill in the info as needed and save it to disk. You will need to make sure the LabVIEW Web Server is turned on (Tools>Options...>Web Server Configuration and check Enable Web Server) so you can view the VI in a browser. If you are viewing on a different machine, it must have the same version of LabVIEW installed or the run time engine for that version and also have the web server turned on.
