Divya,
your question is...weird for LV programmers. Since LV is a programming language, you can do many things with it. So your question comes equal to: what are limitations to C#? To Pascal?
If you are interested in getting known to LV, you should contact your local NI branch. I am sure that they will be looking forward to give you some presentations on LV in order to discuss the point: Is LV a suitable tool for you?
In addition to that, you can use the LV eval version to look into it for yourself within 30 days. There is a lot online information available including online getting started classes.
LV is used in many application areas, like medical, aerospace, green engineering and many more.....
hope this helps,
Norbert

As Norbert indicated your question is rather vague. To date, I haven't really found anything I couldn't do in LabVIEW with the exception of selecting it as teh language to develop the embedded firmware for a product which is not using an NI board. I haven't followed this recently but perhaps NI is supporting the use of a generic board using an ARM processor. Other than that, just like any other language you can write code to do basically anything. The results and outcome are directly related to the experience of the developers and the quality of code. You can write really good applications in LabVIEW or fail miserablely. This is true for any language though.
