Hello,
Not sure if this is the right location for a question like this. I have read a few white papers and find them to usually be very interesting and insightful about the reasoning behind some design decisions for LabVIEW. What are some White Papers that you would consider must-read for anyone getting into LabVIEW? I especially am interested in ones that give some computer science behind LabVIEW.
One that I particularly enjoyed was LabVIEW Object-Oriented Programming: The Decisions Behind the Design

If you are looking for some implementation of OOP examples I'd recommend the Actor framework page. It's kindof a super whitepaper. Lots of content to take in there:

One of the best "Why DAQmx" papers is https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/06/learn-10-functions-in-ni-daqmx-and-handl... -- I believe if you search on "Learn 10 Functions in NI-DAQmx", you might also find a Video of this ...

Ok, not advanced CS at all. But these two are essential to do any more than very basic programs.
I seem to have a bunch of broken bookmarks now. I will have to see if I can find some of the references I tried to keep around.
