You can paste an image as a decoration to be a background for a front panel. Assuming you're using windows, just open the image in an image editor (like paint), copy the area you want into the clipboard and paste it on the front panel. This may not work for some formats which can't be read by paint. What I do is to open powerpoint, paste the picture in a slide, copy it, repaste it in powerpoint using one of the formats in Edit>>Advanced Paste and copy that new image into LV.
Once the image is on the front panel, you only need to move it to the back. Use the rightmost button in the toolbar (the one with the circular arrows).
