I've got a brief question. When in the program the number sent to the analog output exceeds the maximum of the voltage of the FPGA board, what happens physically to the board? For example, I'm using PCI7833R. The maxiumum analog is +/- 10V. What if after the conversion, the program send a number to analog output connector that exceeds 10V? Is there a clamp, or embedded coersion, or some mechanism to protect the board? Would it potentially damage the board in some way? Thank you very much.
Best,
Charles

You won't damage the board at all. With FPGA IO, I do not know if you'll get the maximum output, or no change in output, you'd have to test that and see.
