I'm not 100% sure how far back it goes. But it was available in LabVIEW 7.0

I am using a LabVIEW 8.6 Full Development System and it's not included?

 

Or maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot.

It has only been included as part of the professional version.

It's there since at least version 5.0. But requires the professional version of LabVIEW.
