Where are the VI's

There is an example of loading the control values from a front panel and also saving the front panel control values shown after I did a search on "Remembering Control Values".

The 2nd solution of this example shows the use of two VI's called "Load VI Control Values" and "Save VI Control Values".

I cannot find these VI's in LabVIEW 7.1. Do they still exist?

I dont think they exist anymore.
You can use the 'Invoke Node Method -> VI -> Get All Control Values' and the Configuration File vi's to create your own functionality or you download the 'OpenG Variant Configuration File vi's' from OpenG.org to get the same functionality.
