Where do I get the Excel VI's from?

Hello,

I am trying to convert Labview code from 7.1 to 8.25 and I am missing the following sub-vi's, they are:
  1. Set Cell Value.vi
  2. Open Excel and Make Visible.vi
  3. Open New WorkSheet.vi
  4. Open Specific WorkBook.vi

Where do these vi's come from for 8.25?

Regards,

 Kaspar

Are you using 8.2 or 8.5?

I haven't heard of any of these VI's before.  I suspect that they are ones someone else wrote and aren't from NI.

Whether you are converting to 8.2 or 8.5 (there is no 8.25) they are in the same place as 7.1 - Examples\Comm\ExcelExamples.llb

Hello,

Sorry for the confusion, I am trying to convert to Labview 8.2.  Ok, so I will look in the same relative location in Labview 8.2. The vi's that I am missing in inside a library (as opposed to being discrete file). So how do I get to the vi, when I have a block diagram with question marks for the VI icons because they are considered missing?

When you are prompted to locate the VIs, just browse to the location I mentioned, double click the llb, and select the VI. You should only have to do this for the first subVI.
