Why Can't I Re-size TAB control?

LV 2010, Win Vista, although I've seen this on earlier versions too.

If a panel TAB control is set to NOT auto-grow, and you place an object that's larger than the tab control inside one of the tabs, I would expect to NOT be able to affect the part of the object that's outside the TAB.

I CERTAINLY would not expect the contained object to be layered ON TOP of the container, preventing me from grabbing the container handles.

Here is a JING showing this weird behavior.

I didn't show it, but you CAN re-size the TAB control from the other corners, i.e. the ones not "covered" by the contained object.

I have seen this as well. Really annoying. I'd consider it a bug, and as such should probably go into the Monthly Bug Thread over in the BreakPoint forum.

I had thought the same thing, but maybe there was a LVBehaveWeird = TRUE setting I had missed somewhere.

I have reported to Tech Support.
