Why do NXG and System buttons behave like this?

LV2023 Q3 64-bit, Windows 11, I get this:

VI unedited except to group the buttons together for a smaller recording.

I can say that this is what I see too (LV 2022 Q3-32bit, Win11), the buttons look the same before and after the click (and no mouse over).

I found a thread with a similar issue, where a graphic driver was the problem. I don't know if this helps in your situation.

Hi Uli,

There clearly is a "mouse over"/"hover" color effect on the NXG&System button in your animation visible before the mouse click…

Best regards,

True. Sorry for being not clear with "(and no mouse over)". I meant: [...] and the mouse cursor is not over the button anymore.

Of course I see the "mouse over color change" when the mouse cursor is hovering over the button.

Maybe give this a try: https://www.screentogif.com/

Alternatively the Windows Snipping Tool can record gifs (on Windows 11, at least).
