Why does a VI prints itself

Why does a VI prints itself? It appears that main VI asked a subvi to print a report but the subvi  printed itself instead.

It probably did exactly what you told it to do.  Without seeing the code of both your VI and your sub-VI (attach the actual VIs, as we need to be able to edit and run it), we can only "guess" what you might have done.
