Why does it work sometimes but not always?

Hi!

If you look at my example you'll se that the upper case structure is failing but the lower does'nt.
How come?
I've never managed to get the lower alter to work either before or after that.

In both case structures, there is nothing connected to the output tunnel of the true case - don't know why the lower case structure does not indicate this. Just connect an empty string constant or any string to the output tunnels of each true case to complete the connection.

If you make the lower case structure wider and taller, you'll see that you have a constant wired to the output in the true state. You don't have anything in the upper case statement's true case. An output of a case statement must have a value assigned to it by every case. In 6.1, you can choose to use Default If Unwired by right clicking on the output tunnel. The default for a string is an empty string.

Hello Mike!
Yea i know.. Just odd that it works on the lower one..
But it came wery handy just as i needed it.
(i didnt want to use a blanc string cos it would mess upp my textfile)
