Why does my Labview evaluation copy quickly expire?

I recenlty purchased a couple of LabView books that contain an evaluation version of LabView 5.0 on CD. I load LabView on my computer, perform a few exercises with it and exit. Shorly thereafter, if I try to run it again I get a message saying the 30 day trial period has expired -- even though I've only had it on my computer for less than two hours.
Any recommendations on how to get around this?
Thanks for any feedback.

Check you system clocks to make sure that they're functioning correctly. I have heard of this issue before, although I've never actually seen it, and it was caused by a problem with the system clock on the machine.

There were two different versions of the LabVIEW 5.0 evaluation CD. The first release had this behavior and it was fixed in the second evauation version. There is a way to fix this problem. I would refer you to the following KnowledgeBase: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/576297C4DCD4FA28862567120079B1AC?OpenDocument
