Why does my mouse slow down when using LabVIEW 8.5?

I'm sorry, I meant LabVIEW.

My Dell mouse has software called "SetPoint" that'll let me change the behavior of the buttons.  A regular USB mouse will use the windows defaults. 

Is there any tools on the computer that affect pointer operation?  That's likely what's causing the problem, not LabVIEW or any NI software.

This Logitech has SetPoint software too and the option on button configuration window looks like this.
