I recently installed Labview 8.2 on my Dell Precision M90 laptop (1.83GHz Duo Core 1GB RAM). Since then, when I look at the processes in the Windows Task Manager, I've noticed that nilm.exe is taking about 50% of my CPU power. I understand that this is the National Instruments License Manager. Why is it taking so much of my CPU, even when I'm not running Labview? And how can I resolve this issue?
Thanks!
