Why does turning off my USB device cause LabVIEW to close?

I have a .dll file that is used to generate VI's for USB communication to an external device.  When I remove power from the external device, LabVIEW closes.  Why?

It doesn't seems turning off the device, causes LabVIEW to close. There may be some thing wrong in the function declaration in the dll or something else. Please post your vi along with the dll to analyze further.

Thanks,

Mathan

epsilon-delta,

Does LabVIEW ever throw an error?  If you have established a connection to this USB device and power it down before you close the connection, you might be throwing a fatal error that LabVIEW cannot recover from.

Mathan,

Thank you for your response and suggestions.  I'm sorry, but I can't make the vi or the .dll file available.

epsilon-delta,

Is there anything else that you can offer to help with this issue?
