In this case, it appears that the KnowledgeBase is listing the first compatable version; as with most NI Drivers, there is a (more or less) four-release compatability window. The Readme for the FieldPoint drivers contains the following information:

I agree that the "+" used in the version compatability knowledgebase is potentially misleading as currently written and should be updated to more clearly reflect that this is the earliest supported version.
