It seems you've posted your message before you were able to provide any details in the message body about your questions?
What version of LabVIEW do you want to run on Windows 7?
What kind of compatibility do you want between LabVIEW and Solidworks? What are you trying to do?

UNH,
Student edition shared the same requirements as full LabVIEW. A quick search on ni.com found National Instruments Product Compatibility for Microsoft Windows 7.
For more information on your student edition, go to http://www.ni.com/labviewse/
We can see that the software included is:
The LabVIEW Student Edition Software Suite consists of the following National Instruments software on a single DVD:
As far as SolidWorks goes, a search for 'solidworks' on ni.com gives Getting Started with NI SoftMotion for SolidWorks which gives software requirements as:
• LabVIEW 2009 (32-bit) or later
• LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module Standard or Premium
• SolidWorks 2009 Service Pack 2.1 or later and SolidWorks Motion Simulation with the Motion Simulation add-in enabled from the Tools menu in SolidWorks. This is included with SolidWorks Premium, Simulation Premium, or Simulation Professional.
If we compare the requirements and what we get though LabVIEW Student Edition, we see that SoftMotion is required but not bundled with the student edition. You will have to contact your campus software administrator or a local sales rep to purchase it.
