Windows 2003 Server and LV-DSC 7.0

Hi out there,

does anyone has experiences concerning labview dsc 7.0 and a windows 2003 server?
we try to log the data from a client pc (windows xp) to the server pc and it doesn't work (there was no access to the database, no logos installed on the server or service not started).
Installing logos on the server did not bring any results.
Installing Labview + dsc on the server didn't work - the DSC is not executable on this pc(shared memory manager service not installed).

we tried the same procedure using labview dsc 7.0, creating a citadel 4.0 database on the server - and, what a wonder: it worked!!!!

so, how could we get this problem fixed with the correct database (citadel 5)???

i hope someone could help, solving this problem.

Hello,

which ServicePack have you installed on your WindowsXP-Client? Have you disabled the firewall? Is there any Anti-Virus Software installed? Have you tried a Windows 2000-Client? Do you have the possibility to try it with lv + dsc 7.1?
