Windows 7 with Labview 2009 cannot link to NI WAP-3711?

Hi,

I have similar problem here. My laptop is running windows 7 enterprise. I have configured my ip address to 192.168.127.9. I can successfully ping WAP-3711 (192.168.127.253). Unfortunately, when I'm trying to open the web config page with default username "admin" and password "root". It doesn't allow me to open the page. I'm also trying with different combination of upper and lower case but it doesn't help at all.

I'm also trying to reset WAP-3711 to factory default with holding reset button for a number of seconds but it doesn't give me any good solution.

When I'm using another laptop with windows xp sp3 (ip: 192.168.127.9) to connect with WAP-3711. The username "admin" and password "root" works perfect. I can see the config page without any problem. I just wonder why WAP-3711 isn't working with windows 7.

If anyone knows the answer, please kindly let us know.

Thank you.

Hi,

As you described, you should link the WAP-3711 using a cable, not the wireless.to using admin and root.

I hope my suggest will help.

Regards,

Andrew
