can a digital i/o read analog input?

Hi,

I'm fairly new to these forums, and I have a pretty basic question that I cannot seem to find anywhere else.  I am currently using a USB 6501 Digital I/O to help me read in data from a pressure sensor.  However, my pressure sensor, a MPX4115A, outputs an analog signal in Volts.  Is there anyway I can still use the 6501 to read in the voltage?  Thanks for any help.

You could place some electronics (your own ADC) between sensor and DAQ. I think using a sigma-delta-converter would give you a nice PWM signal that you can aquire as digital waveform.

Not in any way that is as practical as getting a USB-6008 module.
