Wirelessly connect NI 9144 to the cRIO 9022

Solved!

Hi everyone,
So here is my system. I have a cRIO-9022 connected to 3 NI 9144 chassis in a daisy chain and it uses EtherCAT communication. These 9144 have one NI 9215 each. So i use the sampled data from these 9215 in a program that is running on the cRIO.
What I want to do is make this whole system wireless.

Hi homer210788,

EtherCAT is a deterministic communication protocol, so there would not be any real way to communicate with the controller and 9144 wirelessly.  Out of curiosity, what is your application, and why would you like to make it wireless?

HI Matt,

Thank you for your input.

What my system will do is as follows:

The NI 9144 will be deployed far from each other and would be continuosly sampling voltage signals (using the 9215). Now these samples have to be sent to the cRIO and based on them, the cRIO makes some decisions.

So basically I want the 9144 which are distributed far away from each other to communicate to a central cRIO.
