Write to spreadsheet adds carriage return

If you look at the front panel there is an array indicator on the top left.  This the array that is to be saved.  No carriage return appears in the indicator.  But it appears in the saved file.  Is this possible if an end of line is from the instrument?

Unless you have the indicators set to be \ codes, you will not be able to see the carriage return.  And, as I said, instruments send End Of Line characters to mark the end of a transmission.  This is a standard practice.  Therefore, I really think it is coming from your instrument.  A simple way to clear that End Of Line is to use Trime Whitespace in the String palette.
