Write wsn-3202 shared variable name to channel name of measurement file

Solved!
Go to solution

I am using the output of multiple Shared Variable nodes, assigned to a WSN-3202 analog channels, as input into the Write To Measurement File Express VI. They are merged before going into the Write To Measurement File Express VI using the Merge Signals Function. I am writing the data to a text (VLM) file. In the output text file the the columns containing data from the WSN-3202 analog channels are titled "Untitled", "Untitled 1", "Untitled 2" and so on. I want these titles to be based on the WSN-3202 node name and channel they represent. How would this be done? I have attached the output text file.

Hi,

There is a VI called Set Dynamic Data Attributes where you set your signal name.

Hope this helps!

Take the on-line LabVIEW Tutorials, or use the LabVIEW Help function.

Hi kaoutar,

We recommend creating a new post for new questions, since this forum hasn’t been active for a while. To get started with shared variables, you can visit the next document:
