Wrong color in tranparent objects

I'm working with LV 8.0 and Windows 2000.

The problem is as follows:
1. Open a new VI.
2. Make the front panel white.
3. Add an object (eg a flat box decoration)
4. Make the interior of the object transparent. Which now appears white.
5. Print the VI front panel programmatically
using the 'Print' VI or using the 'Invoke Node'->'Print Panel to Printer'.

On the hard copy the interior of the object now appears with a gray color.
This was not the case in previous versions of LV.
How can that be ?
How to work around or fix this ?

The problem is illustrated in the attached VI.

Regrads,
Mikael Ekman

I read recently that this was fixed in labVIEW 8.2

But here in this post, there is a suggested workaround

Hope this helps
