XP 32-bit apps from a Vista 64-bit development environment

If I am developing on a Vista 64-bit OS machine, and I have the usual NI drivers installed (which I assume will try to be 64-bit where available), will I be able to build an application suitable for deployment on a 32-bit XP machine?

Or, do I need multiple machines (or VMs) for each application development type?

If you've installed the 32bit version of LV (not the64 bit beta), you will probably be able to create apps for XP.
