Xantrex XDL 35-5P

Using LabView 8.5(eval) with Xantrex XDL 35-5P I am getting error code "-1074135040" "Driver Status: (Hex 0xBFFFA0000) at the inialize.vi and I don't know what is wrong.

In NI-MAX I see the power supply and I am able to send it commands using GPIB code. I am using a GPIB-USB-HS card. I have downloaded the most recent drivers from Xantrex, but I still can not inialize the power supply.

Any suggestions?

That's an IVI error. Do you have the IVI Compliance Package installed?

Howdy Jake12,

I'm guessing you installed the IVI driver for your Xantrex instrument. Since LabVIEW IVI drivers depend on the IVI Compliance Package's being installed, you would see an error like -1074135040 if the driver fails to load the IVI engine. To echo smercurio's reply, verying a current install of the IVI Compliance Package should fix this error you see.
