Hi, i have done and tested my simulation model in a standalone mode (i.e. not linked to the RT target, simply started using a blank VI). Now that my RT target PXI has finally been fixed up, i want to run my VI in real time mode.
This is how i did it and it generated errors during deployment.
1) started out by creating a new real time custom project.
2) Imported my existing VI to run on RT target.
3) Selected my detected RT target.
4) In the project explorer under the RT target, i went to properties and checked on the TCP/IP option under VI server.
5) Deployed all successfully.
6) I went to the front panel screen and want to run the simulation, then it begins to deploy again but an error "Host LabVIEW failed to download NILVSim_GetBlockNameAndCallChainCore.vi" pops out and fail to complete the task.
May i know what are the steps that i missed out to add existing VI to a RT target? Please advise. Thank you.
