adding words to analyzer spell check

Is there some way to add words to the VI Analyzer Spell Checker so that it doesn't flag words that are spelled right but aren't in the list it uses?

Add them to your User Dictionary.

what version of LV are you using?

The VI Analyzer in version 2009 gives you the option to add strings to the spell check or completly replace the used dictionary. You can find the settings for this in the VI Analyzer configuration dialog for your VI(s) in Documentation >> User >> Spell Check.
