did you ever notice LabVIEW comes with a lot of example? Open the help menu -> find examples...

i save the music file into a folder and didn't remove it but it keeps showing this error...

Here I've simply copied the Windows 'ding' wav file to the desktop and played it with the Play Sound File.vi

It should be that simple. The timeout value (3) should be as long as you want the sound to last.

Is this a file you created or found somewhere? First try the function with one of the sound files that come with Windows such as the ding in the example you got.
