an event controlled single string transmission

I have problems with an event controlled single string transmission.
Inspiration: Basic serial write and read example in Labview 7.1.

My problem is that the string is retransmitted several times.

Is this a continuation of this post? You should really have replied to that instead of starting a new thread. Starting a new thread is just confusing to everyone. How did you modify the example? Better yet, instead of explaining, why don't you just post the example?
