Whoa...hold your horses everyone...don't assume the nonexistant please. Let me take them in order.
1- Elijah....I have no problems chatting with NI personnel. I may have even chatted with you before. I have about 50 SRs under my belt withing the last 3 months and have chatted with Vincent, Travis, Matt, Collegan, Adam, Nathan, Jeff, James, Andrew and others. You guys have been a great help. I just don't want to take all your time....all the time. Don't want to hog you guys for myself. You would never have time to work with others...lol.
2- No problem with chatting on the Forum either...was just thinking it would be quicker doing a one on one. Did not mean to step on anyone's toes or insult them. Unlax guys.
3- I am using a PXI-4070 DMM. I thought I was using a PXI-4224 Hi-Speed Mux but after checking the schematic, I find I was in error. My apologies. But the issues are still the same. I am trying to make an asynchronous analog signal data decoder, no com port used....just the DMM input. No 1's or 0's...just valid data (1.625V, 2.598V, 0.26V, etc.). Incomming Sync pulse is 600mS, followed by 18 random data voltage values which are 1.2Sec each, followed by a repetitive sync, etc., etc., etc. Sync is ~4.8V @ 600mS; Data varies from 0-4.5V @ 1.2S each. I need do decode this data stream coming OUT of the DMM and display in an array or cluster.
I am almost there now. The peak threshold detector seems to be a great tool for detecting the sync. Andrew at NI has helped me tremendously with this and I am just modifying his vi to suit my needs. However I am always willing to hear what anyone has to offer.
