antivirus support for labview environment

Hi,

I'm looking to integrate an antivirus software to a labview environment.

I would be grateful for any assistance on how it can be done?

Can I just instaell a commecrical antivirus package, or do I need a spcieal product?

No, you don't need a special AV product. Choose whatever suits best...

The only thing to beware is that anti-virus programs can be very resource hungry when they decide to do a scan or even an update and can monopolise system resources. Therefore in any LabVIEW applications that have to co-exist you need to prepare for such events. I still haven't found a good way of coping with this so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be interested to hear them
