any functions to convert format to format?

I am not very familiar with the string functions such as "scan string for tokens" and "scan from string".

I would like to convert 4/22/2008 to 2008-04-22. I would be appreciated for your help. 

I am using Labview 7.1.

Anyway, thanks I will look into more ways using scan function and scan tokens.
