Hi,

I am using LV8.6. While I launch exe built in this version it is taking around 80MB (showing in task manager). While I minimize the window, it is dropped to 4MB. Again if I am maximizing it then it is coming up to 20 MB. Is there any way to do these minimize and maximize activities using application refnum? from other exe with out explicitly showing that the window is got minimized and maximized, so that I can show that my application is taking less memory to my customers.

Hey,

There are properties to programmtically set the behaviour, e.g. VI Class>Frontpanel Windows>Minimizable.

However, I would not use this to "fake" an executables size. You should think about calling SubVIs dynamically or reduce the size within the build process.
