automatic wire routing settings

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to set some settings of the automatic wire routing function in LV7 ?

In my case the lv chooses always the wrong route�

Not that I know of. But, often there are undocumented labview.ini settings for such things. Sometimes NI will tell you, if you ask them nicely 😉

I found a token called WireRouteTime that determines how much time the
algorithm spends looking for a route. It is unlikely that this will
help unless your problem is that the algorithm is giving up on complex
diagrams due to not enough time. You might try bumping this number
somewhere between 20 and 100, 50 is the default.

And, the autoRouteWires token will really change it. It means that you
have complete control... Yeah, it is the same as the cutoff in the
options dialog. I still prefer to do my wiring the old fashioned way.
