Did you mean:

autostart runtime-vi before NT-login

I want my application (built with Labview6.02 Application Builder)
to be started automatically when the PC starts up,
but before(!) the user logs in(WinNT).

I do not want to use autologon and autostart.

My first try did not work:
registry entry:
hkey_local_machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\my_vi="c:\m
y_vi.exe"
Result: my_vi.exe starts AFTER the user logs in.

Any hints?

Kind Regards!
Robert

Have a read of the following site... It gives the source code for a utility that can run normal programs as windows services, and hence run them before the login...
Don't know if it works, but it may be worth a try...

some troubles.....

My experience with XYNTservice.exe:
First it seemed to be the perfect tool for my application.
I tied to start some different applications with. No Problems.
Then I deinstalled the XYNTservice.
Now I have troubles with starting some other services (i.e. Symantec
AntiVir)........
