I'm using IMAQ AVI create and IMAQ AVI write frame to generate 30 FPS avi videos which are acquired from a IP camera that is synchronized to 30 FPS.
The problem, is that the avi videos are always forced to 25 FPS. Substituting different values for the "Frames Per Second" parameter of IMAQ AVI Create has no effect, it is always forced to 25 FPS.
I am suspecting that my video codec/encoder may be causing the problem, but this is just a theory.
Has anyone ever seen this problem before?
I'm using the 'ffdshow codec' package from Coke2K. I cannot find a frame rate adjustment in any of the codec setups.
Perplexed . . .

Hello PeterGross,
I believe this issue pertains to the system you are attemping to playback on. If you look at the IMAQ AVI Create VI Help you will see that the Frame Per Second input indicates the desired playback rate, however this may be slower depending on the performance on the system.
