blue screen 8.1

I'm running Labview 8 and NiDaq MX 8.1

I get a blue screen crash on a very regular basis.

The computer is a brand new Dell Optiplex 210L
The DAQ card is a 6010

The failure is in nimxdfk.dll

-STOP: 0x0000008E ....

Does anyone have an idea about what I should do?

Hello Mike,

I think this is a problem with your computers hardware, did you try it also with other computers?

Mike,

If this crash occurs on more than one computer could you post a kernel dump of the crash.  For instructions on how to get a kernel dump take a look at the following KB:

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you both for your suggestions.  The problem was resolved by a NI technician.  I had made a mistake with the data acquisition vi's that caused memory to be flooded with virtual channels.
