I think you are reading more into messages than is actually there.  I don't see where Altenbach is angry with you.  If he was and didn't want to help you, he wouldn't have continued posting more messages giving other alternatives.

I belive Altenbach can speak for himself and doen't need you to speak for him. I founded his last comment not appropriate. Using this symbol (!) in massages usually means shouting or reproach.

Anyway I am surely didn't mean to hurt nobody and just needed some help from the foroum. If you or Altenbach  want to continue this subject I think it will be better to do it in a private way and not this way since it has nothing to do with the massege content.

Was it when I told you not to waste bandwidth by posting the same old code multiple times? My post was a friendly and reasonable request because your actions waste bandwidth and confuse anyone. We don't know if there are significant code changes attached under the same name, or if it is the same old thing, until we download and compare. I doubt the server has good deduplication algorithms, so it also wastes space. If you want to refer to an earlier attachment, you can give a link. If you attach new and modified code, never re-use the name of an existing attachment. 

These are guidelines for everybody, not just for you, and that's why I posted in public. It directly relates to this discussion because we need to keep common sense. It was you who raised a big stink and you could have done that via PM instead of derailing the entire topic..

I also don't have a short list of people that I do or don't help anymore. My contributions are entirely data driven. If somebody throws a tantrum for no obvious reason, I can of course make a temporary exception. 😄

Tnx for the long explanation, as I wrote in previous massages, I am new here and as a new member I didn't know how to insert a link, write in PMs etc. 

I expect that as someone who is trying to help (which I truely appriciate) you will tell me that it is not acceptable to put the same Vi or even to refer me to a foroum regualtion document or even just to explain it the way you did in the last post, which now u can use when ever you will get to the same situation from a new guy.

I don't know you or this foroum and reading your massage  I felt like you are angry with me for some reason and from that point of view I said what I said.

Once again, as I said I appriciate any help but there is a way to say things and if you are short with words it leaves me to understand what I read with my own interpretation. And yes, emoji does help much like exclamation point ,  it helps to bring emotions or feelings into the written massage, that's what they were made for.

Having said that , I didn't want to hurt or disrespect, all I wanted to say is that I didn't like your comment but it is of course your right to comment this way or any other way as it is in your rights to decide if to help me or not next time.
