build error

Hi a co-worker is having a problem building an application using labview 7.1.

evertime he tries to compile the software he gaets an error message about a duplicate file in the same directory. He deletes the directory and tries agin but still gets the same error.

Hi Ken,

Do you know where he is trying to save to and what directory the error is referring to? It sounds like he needs to build the application to a different directory.

Since he is deleting the build directory and trying again, it is possible the build he has configured has 2 files of the same name going to the same destination.  I think in 7.1 App Builder didn't catch that ahead of time and would give an error like this one.
