bundling clusters, name weirdness

I have some boolean indicators I want to bundle up.

I place a "bundle" operator in my diagram, add the right
number of elements, and then go to wire it up. For some
indicators, their names make it into the bundle. For
example, I have named an indicator "foo", and it shows up in
the bundle as "foo".

For other of the indicators, though, they show up in the
bundling as "Cluster Element", and I get an error concerning
duplicate names.

Why do some indicators carry their names into the bundling,
and others not?

Jeffrey,

I'm not sure what the problem could be here. I don't really understand how you're wiring "indicators" to a "Bundle" function, since this function requires data sources (like Controls or Constants) for its inputs. If you meant "Controls", then perhaps you are mistakenly using the "Caption" for the Control name instead of the "Label". You can right-click on the control and choose "Visible Items" to see if the Label or the Caption is showing.

If this doesn't help, perhaps you could attach an example VI to this post that demonstrates the problem.

Good luck with your application.
